On home pc i’ve changed (from Windows update) the internet explorer version 7 from default one (version 6.x). The installation seems working fine but sometimes browser go in crash, especially when i open “options” menu.
Crash windows report problem to PSAPI.dll.
The problem born from a duplicate dll, and different to original one, an made Windows is in trouble. To solve this situation simply
- open Start -> search psapi.dll on entire computer.
- Rename all psapi.dll in psapi.dll-old except for file located inside C:\Windows\Systems32 directory.
- Restart your computer.
